Winston Sirmans Obituary

Winston A. Sirmans, 81, of Rome, Ga, died on November 29, 2024, in a memory care facility of Alzheimer's Disease. He was born in Waycross, Ga to the late Hampton Willis and Wilhelmenia Sirmans. At the time of retirement, he was an associate broker with Toles, Temple& Wright Realty.

Winston was an active communicant and former vestry member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church where he served on numerous committees and taught Sunday School. His passions included golf, family, (including dogs), UGA football, friends, and a desire to help and improve his community in every way he could.

Winston Sirmans is survived by his wife of 58 years, Millie Starnes Sirmans, sons Ric (Argie) of Dunwoody, Ga. And Matt (Gwen) Rome, Ga., grandchildren: Zoe, Pete, Knox, Walker, and Ivey Sirmans, nephews Hank and Greg Sirmans and nieces Amy McNeal and Tasha Limke.

The funeral will be on January 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM St. Peter's Episcopal Church Rome, Ga. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
