Wonda E. McMannis

1950 - 2024

Wonda Eva (Pfeifer) McMannis, age 74, formerly of Plum, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024. She was born on Sept. 10, 1950, in Greensburg, to Howard and Lucille (Uncapher) Pfeifer. Wonda graduated from Franklin Regional in 1969. She was a member of the Italian American Club for many years. Wonda was an avid bingo player and loved going to the casino. She had been sewing for many years and was known as the family seamstress. She and her husband enjoyed going camping until his passing. Most of all, Wonda loved spending time with her grandson, Alex, her little angel. Wonda is survived by her daughter, Heather (Scott) Barnhart; son, James McMannis, Jr.; grandson, Alex Barnhart; three brothers, Edwin Pfeifer, Wendell Pfeifer and Lenny Pfeifer; along with numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband James McMannis; brothers, Harvey Pfeifer and Howard "Butch" Pfeifer; and sister, Dolores Hemminger. Friends and family will be received Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at BASH-NIED-JOBE FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont (724-468-8381). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024, at 10 a.m. at BASH-NIED-JOBE FUNERAL HOME, Delmont, PA. Burial will follow at Plum Creek Cemetery.
