Mr. Woodrow Wilson of Elon, NC transitioned on June 25, 2025 at the Authora Care Hospice Home in Burlington, NC. He was born November 1, 1938 in Danville Virginia to Mr. Orlando Wilson and Mrs. Viola Barnwell Wilson.
Woodrow was a concrete finisher, a member of Gospel Tabernacle United Holy Church where he served in the Mens Ministry. He enjoyed working in his yard and doing crossword puzzles.
He is survived by his wife, Minister Evelyn Whitfield Wilson, children, Minister Sherri Thomas (Michael), Angela McLeod, Jacqueline Wilson and Frederick "Fredy" Enoch (Teresa); 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Woodrow was preceded in death by his parents, three of his children, James Woodrow Wilson and infants, DeCarlos Wilson and Carol Wilson along with all of his siblings, Orlando, Joe, Ernest, Wayman, Francis, Gertrude, Loretta, Geraldine and Jessie Mae.
