Wynona Whittington Hayes age 86, of Cleveland passed away Monday, April 18th, 2022 at TLC Nursing Center.
Mrs. Hayes is survived by her son Marty Hayes(Vicki), sisters Kay Whittington Wynn, Dean Franklin and Sue Hollingsworth(David), grandchildren Joshua Hayes(Amy), Shana Hayes Bryant(Steven), Tyler Hayes(Katie), Hayden Hayes(Jessica), great grandchildren Branden Hayes, Brady Hayes, Makenna Hayes, Whitt Hayes, Audri Hayes, Peyton Hayes and Jaciee Bryant. She was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her parents Jink and Willa Steele Whittington, her husband Ermine Hayes, son Jink Hildon Hayes and her daughter-in-law Kathy Watson Hayes.
The family will receive friends at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 St Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 Thursday April 21st, 2022 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 21st, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at High Rock Cemetery in Hayden, Alabama.
Mrs. Hayes was a member of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was an avid reader and writer. She loved to crochet, paint, swim, but most of all she loved her family. She loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
