Restlawn Funeral Home, Memorial Gardens & MausoleumXander Ashton Colter passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 13, 2025 in Salem, Oregon.
Xander was born on August 1, 2003 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina to Scott Colter and Missy Brever. He was the middle child of three. Because his dad was in the Air Force, Xander lived in many places, including North Carolina, Alaska, Arkansas, Missouri, and Oregon. He lived in Keizer, Oregon with his dad, Scott Colter, stepmom, Jessica Colter, and their hamster, dog, and two cats. Xander loved those animals!
He attended McNary High School and began taking classes at University of Portland. His goal was to join the United States Air Force and become a pilot. Xander was learning to play the guitar. He was an avid aviation enthusiast and car mechanic. He loved rally racing, riding his motorcycle, listening to music, and especially enjoyed spending time working in the garage with his dad. Xander had a beautiful smile and a sense of humor that kept you on your toes. He always set out to help a friend and to bring a smile to someone's face.
Xander loved life, his family, his pets, his best friends, his country, and the love of his life, Makaelyn Ivie. He was gone too soon and will be missed terribly.
