Val Clark, 23, of Harrisburg, NC passed away on August 7, 2023. Born in Huntington, WV on May 15, 2000 to Brian Clark and Tonya Clark.
Val brought happiness and love to his family and those who knew him. Val had a special bond with his younger sister Amahn, who was just a year younger than him. Val also spent a lot of time with his niece Riley. He loved playing video games with Amahn and Riley. The last video game they played together was Zelda, and he was excited to help his niece learn to play.
Val had a passion for music and live concerts. One of Val’s favorite artist was The Weeknd, and his favorite song was Montreal. Val enjoyed cooking for his family and spending family dinners together. Val liked having family game nights with his mom and sisters often. He spent most of his time with his family and connecting.
Val was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. Val always showed kindness and compassion for others. He accepted others for who they were and didn’t judge them.
Val was extremely smart and always pushed to research and learn more. Any interest he had, he researched and wanted to know all he could about the subject. Val always questioned why things were and looked outside the box.
The impact Val had on those fortunate enough to know him is immeasurable. We are thankful to have been loved by him, and love the time we had with him. If there is another life see you then, if there is nothing, we hope there is at least peace. Goodbye is not forever.
