Ya’Sire Isaiah Harper-Love, 2, departed this life on November 19, 2025, at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO. He was born on March 24, 2023, in Kansas City, MO to Keaunta De’Quay Harper-Love and Da’Sha Ariana Bland. His short life was lived in Kansas City, MO.
Ya’Sire was an extremely happy, playful, energetic, kid whose family loved him dearly. Though he was only two years old, he carried a light within him that touched every person who had the blessing of knowing him. His smile alone could soften the hardest day, and his laughter—pure, bright, and full of life—filled every room with warmth. Though our hearts ache, we hold tightly to the memories he gifted us: the sound of his giggles, the softness of his tiny hands, the way he lit up when he saw the people he loved. These memories are now treasures we will carry always.
He was preceded in death by his great uncle, Raymond Dilworth; his great grandmother, Ella Mae Lora; his uncle Isaiah Abraham-Brown, and a host of others.
He is survived by his mother, Da’Sha Bland; his father, Keaunta Harper-Love; his half siblings: KeNya Harper-Love, Ryanne Garcia-Love, Na’Sire Franks; his grandmothers: Dana White and Jamisha Harper; his grandfather, Marcus Bland and wife LaBritany Bland; his aunts: Breahna, Kreasia and Maliyah Bland; his uncles: Marquise, Willie-Ray, and Dyshawn Bland, and Lewis Perkins; his great-grandparents: Willie and Kathleen Dilworth, Terry and Jackie Harper; his great-grandfather, Mark Lora; his great-grandmother Mary Johnson; his great great-grandmother, Ella Mae Bland; his great-aunts: Nakeya and Tiffany Bland, and Unique Holden; his great uncle, Kenneth Andes, a host of others great and great-great aunts and uncles, and last but not least his wonderful godmother, Banisha Eiken.
