Yevette Sue (Woodard) Dill, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away at her home in Daisetta, Texas, on September 29, 2024, at the age of 55. She was born on January 1, 1969, in Houston, Texas.
Yvette was a graduate of Tarkington High School and her proudest accomplishment was her loving family. She is survived by her children, Michael Dill and his wife Erin, Heather Dill and her fiancé Bruce, and Justin Peterson and his wife Lizzy; honorary daughter, Sheila Baird and husband Joseph; grandchildren: Haylea Pippen and Brenten, Landon Dill, Dawson Vest, Hannah Hallet, Tristan Dill, and Charlotte "Charlie" Dill.
Yevette is also survived by her siblings: Stacey Lathrop and his wife Audra, Irvin Woodard and his wife Leslie, Sara Crownover and her husband Kirk, and Josie Woodard. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Linda Ellis and Charles Woodard; her stepmother, Martha Woodard; her beloved son, Steven Dill; and her grandparents, Olen Lathrop, Edna Lathrop, and Margie Lathrop. Yevette is also welcomed back by her aunts and uncles, Alice "Sissy" Rodden, “Red” Rodden, and Billy Lathrop. A visitation to celebrate Yevette’s life will be held on October 6, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Neal Funeral Home in Cleveland, Texas.
