Yevonne Diaz, 45, of Mathis, Texas, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025. She was born on November 8, 1979, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Gilberto Guzman Diaz and Sulema Carranza Diaz. Yevonne was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Yevonne is preceded in death by her great grandmother Guadalupe Rodriguez, her grandparents, Francisco and Eva Lopez Carranza, her uncles David Carranza, Manuel Carranza Sr., Rosendo Carranza, and Ricardo Carranza, her aunt Celia Silvas, her niece Guadalupe Sobieda Rios, and her sister Evonne Diaz.

Yevonne is survived by her father Gilberto Guzman Diaz, her mother, Sulema Carranza (Pablo Calderon) Diaz, her husband, Jesus "Corben" Coronado, and her children, Gilbert Ivan Diaz, Adrian Isreal Diaz, Jesse Corben Diaz, Maria Louisa Diaz, Tila Evonne Diaz, and Thomas Marcelo Diaz. Also surviving Yevonne are her sisters, JoAnn Guadalupe Carranza and Esmeralda Carranza Diaz, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services for Yevonne will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall in Mathis, Texas. A visitation will be held from 10:00am - 1:00pm with the funeral service to be held by Rev. Albert Walker at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Descanso Eterno Cemetery II.

Pallbearers will be Esmeralda Diaz, JoAnn Carranza, Sulema Evangeline Torres, JoAnnita M. Torres, Adrian Isreal Diaz, Jesse Corben Diaz, Geronimo Torrez, and David Torres III.
