With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, Yolaine Clark, who transitioned peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the age of 68 years old.
Born in New York City to the late Fernande and Julius Clark, Yolaine lived a life defined by independence, strength, and love. She was a beautiful soul who touched countless lives with her kindness, generosity, and resilience.
Yolaine dedicated over 30 years to the insurance industry, beginning her career in the Claims Department at Chubb Insurance and later retiring as a Claims Adjuster with Hereford Insurance Company. She loved her work and took pride in the fairness and compassion she brought to her profession.
Though independent by nature, Yolaine was deeply devoted to her family. She leaves behind her cherished son, Nicholas, her precious grandchildren, Ella and Hunter, her devoted sisters, Fernande, Cynthia, and Ghilaine, aunt and uncle, Andrea and Harvey Gedeon, her loving niece, Shanna, great-nephew, Justin, and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends who loved her dearly.
She will be remembered not only for her professional accomplishments but also for the way she lived her life-with strength, grace, and a steadfast commitment to those she loved.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Coffey Funeral Home, 91 North Broadway, Tarrytown, NY 10591 (914-631-0983).
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing Yolaine's light will continue to shine through the memories she left behind and the love she gave so freely.
