Yolanda Grover Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bunker Family Funerals & Cremation - University Chapel from Nov. 11 to Nov. 12, 2021.

Publish in a newspaper

Yolanda Tamez Grover passed away on November 9th, 2021. After a long battle with dementia, she is finally at peace.

She was born on February 7th, 1951, in Mathis, TX, to parents Quintin and Eustolia Tamez. After graduating from Mathis High School in 1970, she pursued a degree in nursing - apt, since everyone who had the honor to know her were cared for deeply by her.

She was twice married: first, to Ludwig A. Kramarz, with whom she had two children: Ludwig Jr. and Jackie; second, to Bradley K. Grover, with whom she had a son: Nicholas, as well as a stepson, Bradley Jr. She was married to Bradley for 29 years, until his death in 2015, and their marriage was exemplary of love and respect, as well as good humor: the two were rarely seen apart and were always laughing.

A memorial will take place on Monday, November 15th, 2021, at 12pm, at the Church of Jesus Christ and the Latter-Day Saints, 454 N. Crismon Rd., Mesa, AZ, 85207.

Yolanda was a beautiful person. She was witty and smart and always had funny quick comebacks. She suffered through driving across town with my husband and I when we went to see President Nelson at State Farm stadium and had us laughing the whole way. She will be missed but I am so happy knowing she is with her family and husband. I´m sure she is sharply dressed as well. Just thinking of you for a few minutes today Yolanda!

We loved Yolanda dearly and are so heartbroken about her passing. Even though we didn't get to see her that much because we lived so far away from each other, she was still in our hearts and prayers. Our deepest sympathies go to her beautiful children, Lud, Jackie, Nicholas, and Brad. We also keep in our prayers her grandchildren. Yolie was a beautiful lady who we hope to see again. May God welcome this lovely angel with open arms in Heaven.
