Yolanda Velez Ramos passed away on February 2, 2026, in Killeen. She was 70 years old. Yolanda was born in New York City to Jose and Gloria Velez.
She will be remembered as a dedicated and hardworking woman who spent many years in the hospitality industry, where she served others with kindness and a welcoming spirit as both a server and bartender. Above all, she cherished her role as a mother and grandmother, finding joy in time spent with her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Yolanda is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Gloria Velez; brothers, Joseph and Julio Velez; and grandson, Deangelo Marquis Ramos.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Alejandro 'Alex' and Christopher Ramos, and brother, Jorge Velez.
Yolanda's family invites any friends to join them for a time of visitation on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 10:00AM, at Harper Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen, with a funeral service following at 11:00AM. She will be laid to rest at Killeen City Cemetery.
