Yolanda Isabella Roy

Yolanda Isabella Roy, 69, of Panama City, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 8, 2023.
Yolanda was born on December 26, 1953 in Campeche, Mexico. She loved caring for babies, especially her grandchildren and great-grandson. Yolanda also loved going for walks with her husband. She would find rocks on the way and bring them back home to paint. Yolanda loved to paint pictures of flowers, beautiful scenery and birds. She also enjoyed tending to her many plants. She always made it a point to take pictures of her family. At all family events, Yolanda was sure to have a big ham, ready to eat! She loved all seafood and didn't mind spending hours cleaning the meat out of crabs. She was known by many to have the best tamales. She had such a wonderful and caring personality. Yolanda was the type of person that you would instantly fall in love with. Her smile was sure to light up a room.
Left to treasure her memory is her husband of 27 years, Eddie Roy; daughter, Evelyn Reynolds (Adam); sons, Edward Hunter, Charles Hunter and Greg Hunter (Teresa); grandchildren, Ramsey Buchanan (William), Justin Reynolds, Alayna Hunter, Lyn Hunter and Amelia Hunter; and great-grandson, Stetson Buchanan
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Living Spirit Community Church, with Pastor David Gurganus officiating. Interment will follow at Living Spirit Community Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
