Yolanda " Yogi" Rodriquez Tripp, a radiant soul who graced this world with her vibrant spirit and unwavering kindness, passed away on February 21, 2025, in the serene landscape of Livingston, Texas. Born on November 3, 1953, in Houston, Texas, Yolanda lived a life characterized by love, determination, and an infectious zest for life, which she imparted to all those fortunate enough to cross her path.

Yogi was a remarkable entrepreneur whose entrepreneurial journey flourished as the proud owner of Cafe Del Rio for many years. Known for her culinary prowess, she brought joy and flavor to countless patrons with her exceptional cooking. Her passion for the culinary arts went hand-in-hand with her love for horses. A devoted equestrian, she cherished every moment spent riding her horse, Tibit along with motorcycles, and embracing the freedom and joy that did not only signify her adventurous spirit but also her deep appreciation for the simplicity and beauty of life.

A vivacious personality who loved anything adorned in Cheetah print accompanied by an abundance of bling, Yolanda had a unique flair that illuminated every room she entered. She was truly one of a kind—a beacon of strength, touching the lives of many with her profound kindness and compassionate heart. Throughout her life, she relished her time at the Ranch in Livingston, where the simple pleasures of nature became her sanctuary.

Yogi's love for life was only rivaled by her devotion to her family. She is survived by her cherished husband of 13 years, Michael Tripp, who stood by her side as an unwavering partner. Her children, Brenda Jo Longoria and her husband Lupe Jr., Lance Fink, Perry Shehann, and Bridgette Beason and her husband Kenny, carry forward her legacy of love and strength. In her role as a grandmother, she took great pride in nurturing her beloved grandchildren: Lupe Longoria III, Joey Longoria and his wife Fatima, Hadley Morgan, Kaylyn Clemons, Addisyn Morgan, and Julianna Morgan. Additionally, she is lovingly remembered by her brothers, Joe Herrera Jr and his wife Aleida, Jody Herrera, Gregory Hernandez and his wife Marcy, Chris Hernandez and his wife Marina, Melchor Hernandez, and Richard Hernandez and his wife Romona, along with her sisters, Sandra Herrera, Genevieve Hernandez and her husband Tony. Her special niece, Natalie Hernandez, along with many other loving family members and a host of friends, also grieve the loss of a woman who brought light into their lives.

Yogi's spirit will forever resonate through the memories of those who knew and loved her. Her proudest accomplishments included serving as the First Lady of the Sons of Jehovah Motorcycle Ministry, a role where she showcased her dedication to community and fellowship. A daily devotee to her faith, she found comfort and inspiration in the words of Isaiah 40:31, which served as a testament to her unshakeable belief in the power of hope and renewal.

As we reflect upon the life of Yolanda Rodriquez Tripp, let us cherish the laughter, the love, and the warmth she brought to our lives. Her spirited essence will remain a cherished part of our community, a reminder to live life fully, generously, and with intention.

Visitation services will commence on February 28, 2025, from 6 PM to 8 PM, followed by a Funeral Service on March 1, 2025, at 11 AM. Both events will take place at 200 S Washington Ave, Cleveland, Texas, where friends and family will gather to honor her extraordinary life.
