Yolanda Christina Turner-Ramey

Yolanda Christina "Yoyo" Turner-Ramey, of Rockford departed this earthly life February 22, 2026. She was born September 25, 1972 in Chicago, Il the daughter of Carolyn Turner and Herman Taylor. Yolanda lived in Rockford since 2012 coming from Chicago, IL. She married Keith Ramey June 27, 2019, in Rockford, IL. She was employed as a personal assistant by European Home Care 10 years. Yolanda was a member of Deliverance Crusader. She graduated from John Marshall High School in Chicago.

Yolanda leaves to cherish many loving memories, her husband, Keith Ramey; two daughters, Jasmine Ellis and Brionna Thomas; son, Kejuan Turner; three stepchildren; Danielle Ramey-Angel, Jeniffer Ramey-Hayes and Keith (Stephanie) Ramey Jr. nine grandchildren and one great grandchild; sister, Monique (Johnathan) Holley; four brothers, Herman (Angela) Simmons, Samuel (Antoinette) Simmons, Lawrence Speed and Arthur (Vicky) Speed; a host of nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; and brother, Walker Deandre Turner.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
