It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Yolanda Urias, beloved wife, mother, and cherished friend. Yolanda was born on March 5, 1942, in Chihuahua, Mexico, and she peacefully departed this world on January 12, 2025, in Orlando, Florida, at the age of 82.
Yolanda dedicated her life to her family and church as a devoted homemaker, nurturing her loved ones with kindness and warmth. She was deeply proud of her Hispanic Mexican heritage and instilled in her family the values of love, respect, and hard work. Yolanda will be remembered for her gentle spirit, infectious laughter, and the countless ways she enriched the lives of those around her.
Yolanda is survived by her loving husband Genaro Urias and her sons & daughters Gabriel Urias, Monica Urias, Alejandro Urias, Rebeca Christiana Urias who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Yolanda's life at Highland Funeral Home, 3329 E. Semoran Blvd., Apopka FL., on Saturday, January 18th from 10am - 12:45pm. Funeral Services will be held at Resurrection Catholic Church, 1211 Winter Garden Vineland Rd., Winter Garden, FL., at 2pm. Please assemble at church.
Yolanda will be laid to rest in a burial ceremony on January 19th, 11am at Highland Memory Gardens, 3329 E. Semoran Boulevard, Apopka, FL 32703.
Yolanda Urias will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
