Yong Kim, 73, of Munster, IN, formerly of Clarksville, TN, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025.
A devoted mother to Ja Kyung and Sara Kim, and a cherished grandmother to Iyone, Gray, and Amelia, Yong played a central role in her family's life. She lovingly helped raise her grandchildren with unwavering care, strength, and dedication, always giving of herself while her health allowed.
Yong immigrated to the United States in 1977 and worked tirelessly as a small business owner, embodying resilience and determination in pursuit of a better life for her family. She found great joy in cooking for loved ones, singing, and fondly remembered playing the drums as a young girl.
Yong was a woman of grace, dignity, and timeless style. Her memory will be held close and honored every day by all who knew and loved her.
