Jeffery Peters, born on August 4, 1962, in Elgin, Illinois, passed away on October 7, 2025. He dedicated his life to serving others in various roles, including as a firefighter and paramedic, where he exemplified bravery and commitment to his community. Additionally, Jeffery was a skilled heavy equipment mechanic and served as a business agent for Midwest Operating Engineers Local 150.
Outside of his professional life, Jeffery had a passion for restoring cars and motorcycles, a hobby that allowed him to combine his love for mechanics with creativity.
He is survived by his beloved spouse, Pam Peters; his daughter, Tiffany Scheer(Chad); and his son, Christopher Gates(Jen). Jeffery was also a proud grandfather to Andrew, Isaac, Nathan, Hunter, Sawyer, and Ronni. He is remembered fondly by his sister, Kathy Issen(Marshall), and his father, Richard Peters.
Jeffery Peters will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
