Young Mu Kim Obituary
Young Mu Kim, 81, of Harrisburg, passed away Friday, July 7, 2023.
Mr. Kim was born January 10, 1942, in Korea. He immigrated with his family to the United States in 1978 to provide a better opportunity for his children. Mr. Kim works really hard to provide for his family. He started a successful business that put his children through college. His hobbies included gardening and planting. He loved to spend his time with his grandchildren and family. Mr. Kim was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by everyone and we are blessed to be part of his life.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg. The funeral service will be on Monday, July 17, 2023, at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg officiated by Pastor Han. Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park Harrisburg at 12015 University City Blvd., Charlotte.
Survivors include wife, Kum Sun Kim of Harrisburg, NC; Sons: Tommy (June) of Huntersville, NC; Bobby (Nan Ju) of Mint Hill; Grandkids: Daniel, Simon, Alyssa, Hanna, Chloe, and Zoe.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg is serving the Kim family.
