Yvette M. Dixon, 56, of Clay, passed away with family by her side on July 8, 2025. Yvette was born in Syracuse, New York on April 7, 1969 to Roy and Eva Whorrall.

Yvette worked as a travel nurse as well as for St. Joseph's Hospital and Elderwood as a Registered Nurse. She was a graduate of St. Joseph’s School of Nursing. In her free time, she enjoyed playing softball and darts. Most of all she loved spending time with her husband, children, brother, sister, and niece, Brenna. She enjoyed traveling the country with her family as a traveling nurse, all the way from New York to Arizona, and Long Beach. Yvette was a loving wife, mother, and sister. She was also a devoted nurse, and her passion was caring for the sick.

She was preceded in death by parents, Eva and Roy Whorrall.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, James Dixon; three sons, Derek Dixon, Jack Dixon, Abel (Wesley) Dixon,; sister, Marina (late, Thomas) Mosher; Brother, Vincent (Donald Hill) Whorrall; Niece, Brenna (Jonas) Mosher; and many friends, including her best friend and colleague, Thérése.

Per Yvette’s wishes no services will be at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
