Yvonne Marie Arens, age 71, passed away of natural causes on Monday, February 2, 2026, in Tallahassee, Florida.

Yvonne was born on April 14, 1954 in Litchfield, Minnesota, to Raymond Arens and Dorothy DeHeer. She later made her home in Florida, where she built a life and career dedicated to public service working for the Florida Department of Transportation. Contributing to the planning and development of Florida's communities and transportation system.

She is survived by her siblings. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Dorothy Arens of Watkins, Minnesota.

I met Yvonne through our work at FDOT in 2008 and became fast friends. She was an inspiration through some tough times and I will never forget her. May she rest in peace with her two cherished Bassett hounds Guinness and Charlie.

I met Yvonne in 1981 and we became fast friends. We maintained that friendship until her passing. I miss my dear friend.

Yvonne was a great neighbor and she will be missed . We met her walking her dogs Guinness and Charlie and became friends . She loved those two they were her kids . We will always have fond memories of her . Our deepest condolences to her family .
