Yvonne M. Craig, born November 17, 1931 in Mobile Alabama, passed into a world of Utopia on December 3, 2024 at 9:25am in the city of Fairhope, Alabama. She resided in Spanish Fort, Alabama at the time of passing. She was 93 years young.

Shortly out of high school, Mrs. Craig became a member of the United States Air Force. After 3 years of service she become a Civil Service servant of 30 years for the United States. Yvonne also enjoyed traveling, had a huge heart for her beloved dogs, enjoyed time at the casinos, and committed her heart and time to raising her great niece Holly Forbus. The love between Yvonne and Holly was that of a Mother and Daughter, evident that blood doesn't make someone family.

Mrs. Craig is welcomed into the gates of Heaven by her husband, Homer "Jim" Craig; mother, Edna McKenzie, her sister, Mary Lou Rider, her brother, Buddy Mashburn, and some nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Craig leaves behind her beloved niece Holly Forbus and her two children Tessa Lay and Conner Forbus whom she cherished with her soul. She also leaves behind her beautiful sisters Helen Osborne (Lynn Osborne) and Patricia Alford, along with nieces several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Craig's family will celebrate her life with a funeral service on Monday December 9, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Her family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 am.
