Yvonne Ann Demidovich, 64, of Maidsville, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025 at WVU Medicine - JW Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Born May 12, 1961 in Detroit, MI, Yvonne was a daughter of the late Gerald Eugene and Luella Vanwormer Stevens.
Survivors include her husband John Demidovich; three children, Scott Alan Demidovich of Connellsville, PA, Johnny Demidovich and his wife Misty of Morgantown, and Katie Jo Demidovich of Maidsville; six grandchildren, Bradlen, Lauren, Skylar, Zachary and Donovan Demidovich, and Derrick Morris; a great-grandson, Bradley Demidovich; sisters, Cheryl Young and her husband Al of Rivesville and Brenda Williams of Morgantown; and a brother, Chuck Stevens of Westover; and several nieces and nephews, most of whom referred to her as Aunt Bon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma Lou Sell, and Heidi Jo Price just a week before her passing; and a brother-in-law, Ben Williams.
Yvonne's family was the center of her whole universe. Her entire life was based on being a proud and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She took great pride in making sure that her grandkids knew they were the most important thing to her and she spent all the time that she could with them. Anything that they needed - whether it be going to a park, attending their football games and basketball games where she was always in the bleachers cheering them on, or any activities they had going on, she was there for.
She enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach, and doing anything that had to do with her sisters - affectionately referring to themselves as the "Sister Squad", and even letting their brother Chuck in on the fun sometimes!
