Zachary Negen, 30, of Murdock, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2025, at CentraCare Rice Hospital in Willmar. His funeral service will be at 1:30 pm, Friday, August 29th at Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Home in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to his service. www.hafh.org

Zachary Alan Negen was born on April 7, 1995, in Minneapolis to Mitchell and Suzanne (Roelofs) Negen. The family lived in Benson for a few years before settling in Murdock, where Zach grew up and graduated from KMS High School.

Zach had a deep love for all things Disney and other animation and cartoons. He found great joy in watching the movies and listening to the soundtracks, often rewatching the newest releases over and over. He also enjoyed watching wrestling with his family, drawing, and spending time on his iPad.

Above all, Zach treasured time with his siblings-Kalli, Cole, and Mason. He shared an especially close bond with his twin brother, Cole. The two were inseparable, spending countless late nights watching movies, playing video games, or simply talking. Zach's gentle spirit brought joy to those around him. He had a love for food, with favorites including pizza, pasta, and most of all-a simple pull apart bun. In a sweet expression of hope, Zach once asked for a lucky horseshoe as a gift to change his fortune. From that day on, he carried it with him always.

Zach was a quiet, kind soul and a big heart whose presence brought comfort and joy to his loved ones. He will be deeply missed as a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend.

Zachary is survived by his father, Mitchell Negen of Murdock; mother, Suzanne Roelofs; siblings: Kalli, Cole and Mason Negen of Murdock; grandparents: Gary and Karlene Negen, Linda Roelofs and LaVonne Negen; aunts and uncles: Joe and Kelly Roelofs, Mike and Jennifer Roelofs, Larkin and Gina Adey, Shane Gigstead and Lisa Foster and Dane and Diane Gigstead.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Bob Roelofs and Gary Bergland.
