Born in Newark, DE on September 8, 1996, he was a son of Matthew Joseph "Matt" and Catherine (Gorak) Platt. Zack worked in customer service at Chelsea Wine & Spirits.
In his spare time, Zack enjoyed writing poetry and listening to all types of music. He could often be found playing video games, or watching Anime, Dr. Who, or Disney. Above all, Zack loved hanging with the guys and cherished every memory he made with them.
Zack was preceded in death by his older sister, Danielle Mae Conner. He is survived by his parents, Matt and Catherine Platt; twin brother, Joshua Dalton Platt; and furry brothers, Buzz and Woody.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 pm until 6 pm on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 6 pm. Interment will be held privately. The family encourages friends and family to wear Dr. Who and Disney shirts, with Zack in mind, wear something he would love.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Zack's memory to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), 199 Water Street, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10038 or online by clicking here.

You probably don't know me but I knew Zack when he briefly directly messaged me on Instagram a year ago asking me if Splash Mountain could be saved, that was a year ago and I know the ride is completely gone now but I'm so sorry to hear what happened to him, I knew his brother on Facebook and I knew him in the Save Splash Mountain group on Facebook, I am so very to hear of his passing even though he's been gone for a year now.
