Wolschleger, Zachary Matthew Age 39 August 3, 2023. Beloved son of the late Traci Schmitt (Fred Schmitt) and Barry Wolschleger (Mary Jo Wolschleger). Loving brother of Christopher Sorensen(Brooke Bailey) Sister Alyssa Irwin (David Irwin) and Rachel Robinson (Brad Robinson). Dear father of Hailey Arntz, Jenna Arntz, Kaden Arntz(Kristie Arntz) and Lillianna Magee (Heather Magee). Dearest grandson of the late Dr. Herman and Barbara Holste & Albert and Helen Wolschleger. Uncle of Jayden Kelly, Braylen Irwin, Teygan Irwin, Gracie Robinson, and Owen Robinson.
Born in Bad Axe, Zach was always known as the wild child and sweetheart mixed together. Shortly after finishing high school he moved to Detroit following a manufacturing job.
His love for working with his hands lead him into a career in the trades. With his exceptional eye for detail he was good at every trade dabbling in carpentry, roofing, masonry and excavation.
He was an old soul with a big heart. Loving anything that went fast. Known for his cars and toys. Never a boring man, but also man of routine. Everyone will remember his mix of clean fresh white shirts and dirty working hands.
The biggest lover in this world. Babies were his world. He loved figuring out how a toddler ticked or picking his best girl up from school to see her smile. To be loved by Zach was an experience most couldn't describe but didn't want to let go of.
We will never forget that your name was never your name, having a nickname for every person he loved. With his mix of his own language and catch phrases that will never be forgotten.
He will be missed by so many friends family from Bad Axe area, up to Traverse City, down to Detroit and by Terri Honkanen and the community at the Rubber Duck.
A private service with immediate family will take place at St. John's Lutheran Church.
A Celebration of life in Bad Axe including A last ride, will be announced at a later time.
A Memorial will also be held at The Rubber Duck in Clinton Township, at a later time.
