Zachery Cooper. Jr., 15, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024. There will be a private family service held with Rev. Wayne Dunson officiating.
Zachery was born in Columbus, GA, on July 9, 2009, to Carrie Brooke Shoemaker Cooper. He attended Lakeview Full Gospel Church. Zachery was full of life everywhere he went. He liked to joke and cut up and always wanted everybody else to be happy. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Earnest Weaver, and two great-uncles, Ernie Weaver and Richard Preston.
He is survived by his mother, Carrie Cooper (Tyler Hazel); two brothers, Logan Cooper and Garrett Cooper; a step-brother, Bradley Hazel; his maternal grandparents, Tonya and Phil Preston; his maternal great-grandmother, Lorene Weaver; his aunt, Faith Preston; a great-aunt, Regina Dunnivan (Gary) and a special great-aunt, Becky Weaver; cousins, Brandi and Steven Lane, Hailie Lane (Brandon), Derek Lane, and Adam Preston; and his dog Bean. He is also survived by so many friends and family.
Way-Watson Funeral Home, 1052 Dr. Deryl Hart Road, Buena Vista, Georgia has been entrusted with these arrangements.
