With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Zayra Marina Perez, who departed this life on September 7, 2025, at the age of 75.
Zayra was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, remembered for her strength, compassion, and the boundless love she shared with all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband, Manuel Perez, and their son, Owen Perez.
She also leaves behind her beloved children: Edgar Paz and his wife Wendy, and their daughters Mikaylah and Katrina; Byron Paz and
his children Isaiah, Bella, and Ezekiel; Jack Montoya and his children Alex and Jasmine; and Vanessa Romo, her husband Adolfo, and
their children Alexia, Darla, Andreah, Diego, and Olivia. Zayra was a proud great-grandmother to Metztli and Tonatiuh, the beloved
children of her granddaughter Alexia.
Her life was a beautiful example of devotion to family, quiet strength, and enduring kindness. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A funeral mass in her honor will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 9:30 AM, Church of the Visitacion, 655 Sunnydale Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94134
