Zedra Rishall Moore Williams was born on December 9, 1973, to the late Richard Moore, and Linda Moore in Craven County, NC. She transitioned from her natural life on September 4, 2024, at home in Edward, NC.
Zedra attended Beaufort County Schools and graduated from Aurora High School class of 1993. She was a member of Holy Temple Church Ministry. She graduated from Mitchell's Hair School in Greenville, NC with a degree in cosmetology.
She was married to Wendell Willams on August 25, 2007.
Zedra was a member of Eastern Star BayStar #48 of Bayboro, NC.
Zedra founded an organization in honor of her late father, The Richard Lee Moore Foundation. She hosted many events in the local areas, feeding the elderly as well as everyone in the community.
Zedra founded Women on the Move, and hosted cancer benefit dinners annually. She was dedicated and committed to her church.
Zedra was preceded in death by her daughter, Latisha Moore.
Zedra leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Wendell Williams; son, Tyrone Jordan of the home; daughter, Shadrienna Roland of Greenville, NC; her mother, Ms. Linda Becton of the home; her mother-in-law, Ms. Dianna Williams of Greenville, NC; grandmother-in-love, Maggie Rodman; her sisters, Chuandell Minor, Tammy Ham of Aurora, NC, Vickie White of New Bern, NC; her brothers, Karshell Von Tyre of Chocowinity, NC, Calvin Stallings (Kimberly) of South Carolina, Floyd Edwards of Virginia; brothers-in-law, Damien Williams of Grimesland, NC, Ellis Williams of Greenville, NC; aunts, Ms. Vernell Williams of Blounts Creek, NC, Ozedra Morris of Amityville, NY; uncle, Theodore Hemby (Sarah) of Edward, NC; Zedra's little kitchen helper, Makayla Murriel (niece); God-sister, Tracy Boyd; God-brother, Patrick Hamilton; several God-children and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
