In loving memory of Zenaida Artacho Kintziger
December 24th, 1944 - September 28th, 2025
Zenaida Kintziger, 80, of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on September 28th, 2025 at St. Luke's Southshore Hospital. She was the beloved daughter of José and Victorina Artacho and the second oldest of her siblings. She is now joined with her parents, two sisters, and one brother in the Kingdom of Heaven. Zenaida attended Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines, where she received a degree in accounting. While attending college, she also worked in real estate. After graduating, Zenaida had a son (Joey) and moved to the U.S. They lived in Grafton, Wisconsin with her sister (Rica Del Rosario) and brother-in-law (Salvador Del Rosario).
Zenaida was an active parishioner at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grafton where she enjoyed singing in choir and met the love of her life, Paul Kintziger. They married on October 7th, 1983. Together, they devoted their lives to Christ and remained active in the church.
In 1989, they moved to South Milwaukee. While Joey went away to college, Zenaida and Paul continued to be active at St. Matthew’s church in Oak Creek. In addition, they volunteered their time to help the community through the Knights of Columbus where they were honorary members. Zenaida’s faith inspired her to write poetry, and with support from The Writer’s Ink club in Cudahy, WI, she completed a collection of poetry and published a book titled, “And Tears No More”. Zenaida was known for her kindness, sense of humor, and her devotion to God.
She is survived by her husband Paul, and son Joey (Heather Menten) of Waconia MN; her grandchildren, Gabriella and Sydney; Brother-in-law Earl Kintziger (Karen) of Iowa, Nieces, Clarissa Schiek (Norbert) of Cedarburg WI, Melissa Marasco (Matthew) of Chicago IL, Paz Como (Jerry) of Sugar Hill GA, Teresa Whisenhunt of Las Vegas NV, Rita Espiritu of San Francisco CA; Nephews, Dr. Zaldy Del Rosario (Gigi) of Bakersfield CA, Mikey Del Rosario (Samantha Vicenty) of Manhattan NY, Matthew Kintziger of Iowa, Jeffrey Kintziger (Kristina) of Nebraska, Mario Espiritu (Ellen) of San Francisco CA, Dr. Eugene Espiritu (Maria) of Menlo Park, CA, and Bet Espiritu of San Francisco CA,
Visitation at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 9303 S. Chicago Rd., Oak Creek, on Wednesday, October 8 from 9:30-10:45 am. Mass at 11:00 am, Christian Burial at 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm at 732 Badger Avenue, South Milwaukee at Knights of Columbus for food and beverages.
