Ziva Kate Gibbs

Baby Ziva Kate Gibbs, our beautiful, perfect daughter and sweet angel with a head full of dark curly hair, was welcomed into the world on April 21, 2025, at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. Arriving at 5:45 am and weighing 6 lbs., 12 oz, Ziva was the second child born to Drew and Sierra (Catellier) Gibbs. A fighter from the start, Ziva resiliently battled a rare heart condition called Ebstein's Anomaly. Undergoing multiple surgeries and procedures, and spending most of her precious short life at Riley Hospital for Children. Her loving mom, dad, and big sister moved into the Ronald McDonald House to stay by her side. Against all odds, Ziva's strength shone through, and she was finally able to go home on July 4th, bringing immeasurable joy to her family. Once home she met many family members for the first time and was showered in love. Ziva passed away with her Mother and Father by her side on July 18 at Riley's Children Hospital. Though her time with us was brief, Ziva's spirit and the love she brought will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Left to now mourn her absence, survivors include her loving parents, Drew and Sierra Gibbs of Cloverdale; big sister, Marley Drew Gibbs of Cloverdale, paternal grandparents, Mike and Laura Gibbs of Gosport; maternal grandparents, Dwayne and Sarah Berling of Monrovia; maternal great grandparents, Kathy Wills of Plainfield and Gary Wills (Nancy Fields) of Coatesville, Bob and Donna Berling of Monrovia; Zac and Cassie Gibbs of Gosport, Cody and Whitney Gibbs of Martinsville, Cody and Whitley Berling of Eminence, Chloe Catellier of Indianapolis, Tristen and Tyler Camic of Martinsville, Wyatt and Bo Berling of Monrovia; cousins, Mabel and Hattie Gibbs of Gosport, Wyatt, Emma, and Jessa Gibbs of Martinsville; fur-siblings, Cali, Jay, and Georgia. Friends and family are invited to gather and pay respects from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Light Memorial & Funeral Chapel, Monrovia. Funeral services will be held intimately for the family and Ziva will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Hall.
