I never knew Kyle personally, nor Aaron, but I knew OF them both, as I was a classmate of their sister, Tonya. My deepest condolences and sympathy go out to the Dobert family during this time. May you find comfort in the arms and hearts of your friends and family. You will forever be in my thoughts and prayers. RIP Schaghticoke Angels!

I am Alisha's cousin and just recently met Kyle at a family wedding. He seemed like such a nice person and it was obvious how much he adored Alisha. This tragedy was shocking and horrific, and while we may never know why, we do know that those two beautiful young people are together in heaven, smiling down on us. Please accept my family's deepest sympathies on your loss.

Pam, so many loved Kyle because you raised him to be a fine young man. Of that my Dear you can be proud. You touched my life when I was down and continually brought joy to my life with your smile, hugs and optimism - all given while you were in the midst of a trial no mother should ever have to endure. Now, my Dear Pam, as another arrow pierces your wonderful, loving heart, I reach out to you, with a smile and hugs, somehow hoping to give back to you what you so freely gave to me: love, kindness, genuineness and a true caring attitude. You are genuine Pam, the REAL DEAL; and for the many blessings you continue to give to me and your countless friends (and you have MANY!,) I will always be grateful. Dear Dobert Family,
You do not know me..we have never met and I have never met your son Kyle. I too am a Mother and grandmother and I can't imagine what you are feeling and going thru right now. Just know that they are together in heaven and watching over you right now. It has been such a sad tradegy. They will forever live on in your dreams, hearts and memories. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family in this time of sadness. RIP Kyle.

We have known Kyle for years. His loss will be felt by many forever. Remember the days that were bright and good. As there were many…. I remember going to western union in the middle of the night to send money to Jamie, Mike and Kyle....they were in NYC and had returned to find the truck towed because the parked by TIMES SQUARE I remember thinking what a LONG night for the 3 of them walking from one end of Manhattan to the other But now I am sure that night will remain in the memories of Jamie and Mike as one of the best nights of their lives. ……When its quiet and you listen you will hear him and feel him around you He is there….always

Schaghticoke Is Such A Small Town & So Many Have Been Lost. I'm So Sorry That Your Family Has To Go Through This Yet Again. You Girl's Are Very Strong People & No One Would Wish This Upon Any Family. tanja rosner (alisha's cousin) said it perfectly. we do not know why things happen as they do, and faith and god are always questioned and/or blamed at a time like this. we must lean on god more so now..for comfort, strength, and peace. we will never know the pain that pam has personally had to endure, as well as the rest of the family and alisha's family too. however, so many of us who have known the family, as well as those who didn't, are deeply saddened and grieving as well. the families and friends are in my thoughts and prayers. remembering all of those taken from our lives is what will help get us through. our community has definitely shown their love and support through this difficult time...truly amazing! rip kyle and alisha, as well as the rest of the "schaghticoke angels"...forever in our hearts.

I am so sorry to hear about Kyle. I remember always saying Kyle was like my little brother and I still feel that way even though we have lost touch. He will be missed by many. I will always remember the little Kyle that always had to be doing what everyone else was so he could be with us. But just think now he is with Aaron and Alisha and they will be watching over you when you need them. Rest in Peace Kyle!

To the Dobert Family,
Although I do not know your family, you have been in my thoughts since hearing of this terrible tragedy.
I did meet Kyle on two occasions. I didn't get to know him well but it was clear that he had a pure heart. How wonderful that he found Alisha to share his love with. May Kyle be in heaven with Alisha and his brother watching over all of you.
I hope that God will give you strength to get though this difficult time and the days ahead.

Dear Dobert Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have known Kyle for many years now since the kids grew up so close together. Schaghticoke and Hoosic Valley are small and everyone knew each other. The kids said that they will never forget the times they played man hunt together, swam, and of course fished! Your right, Kyle did have that smile about him. I hope you do understand that your boys are together once again. And you will all be reunited - in time. I would rather not dwell on the loss, but rather all the fun memories we shared. He will be truly missed by us all!!

To the Dobert Family..I cannot even imagine what your family is going through at this time. Our prayers have been with you and Alisha's family since we heard about the crash. Stacy is our neice, she married our nephew, and Wesley and Erica were married at out home. I was so sad when I hear of your relationship. My neices are best freinds with Alisha, and so this has hit home on both sides of the family. My heart aches for all of you. Pam and family: What can you say at a time like this? Being a mom its to horrible to even try to imagine what you are going through right now. You are a very strong family that has great friends and family to rely on. I have always believed in one day at a time and that is what I would tell you to do. Kyle was a great young man that was just starting to get his life together and finally found the girl of his dreams. Always know in your heart that he was happy and he loved you. My prayers are with you and your family for some kind of a peace. I will always be there for you if you need me, remember I love you and friends are forever.

No one knows why bad things happen to those so innocent and whose life has hardly begun. For now it will have to remain the painful mystery that it is. Losses like this can make us challenge our faith; however, this is precisely the time when our faith needs to be its strongest.
I am praying that your faith will help you through this very difficult time and help you to know that God's purpose, whatever it may be, is at work. I pray that you will find the strength to get you through your grief and sadness.
