Zula Evangeline DeMoss met her Lord and Savior face to face on the morning of July 19, 2025, just hours after celebrating her 87th birthday. She was the devoted wife of Richard J. DeMoss, Sr. for 66 years, a marriage marked by faith, devotion, and strength. Together they built a family rooted in love and guided by the Lord. Zula was the beloved mother of Richard Jr. (Renee), David (Mary), Thomas (Shelly), and Kevin (Sharon Jo). She was a treasured grandmother to Lyndsey (Caleb) Mignogna, Lauren (Michael) Benson, Richard III, Nathan (Lindsey), Brandon (Madelynn), Cecilia, Henry, Andrew (Abigail), Evan (Emily), Alec, Sophie (Kyle) Bowen, Nicholas, Samuel, and Marissa. She was a proud great-grandmother to Maximus, Eli, Grant, Easton, Posie Maverick, Oliver and Emmett. Zula's life was marked by unwavering faith, quiet strength, and a deep love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of grace and godliness that will continue in the lives of all who knew and loved her. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." -Psalm 116:15 Visitation Friday from 4-8 pm at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Rd., Garden City (between Ford and Cherry Hill). In state Saturday from 10 am until the 11 am funeral service at Faith Baptist Church, 47500 Warren Road, Canton (Northwest corner of Warren and Beck).
