Carmen Elena Biondi

Carmen Elena Biondi, maiden name Henriquez, was born in Bayate, Cuba. She was known for her elegant style, compassionate spirit, and energetic personality.
Carmencita grew up on a coffee plantation the eldest of seven, and later married her husband Charlie and moved to Europe before the Castro revolution. They raised two girls together.
Carmencita helped Charlie start his import/export business and worked alongside him for many years. Throughout her life, she maintained a kind, loving nature and worked to encourage young immigrant women who were struggling.
Having lived in Italy, Germany, and France for many decades, Carmencita was proudly able to speak five languages. Her energetic and enthusiastic passion for life was contagious to all those around her and she will be dearly missed by loved ones.
She is survived by daughters, Elena Biondi and Marissa Radovan, grandchildren, Niko and Gigi Radovan, and sister, Esther Molina. She is preceded in death by her former husband, Charlie Biondi, siblings, Aurora, Julio, Cuchita, Hugo and Chela, and her parents.
