June was such a sweet lady. While we only had a few years of being her neighbor, our son loved to stop and talk to her on his walks. We will miss our visits, but happy to have known her. Sending our love to the family.

I remember my Aunt June fondly. It´s been many years, but I´m happily reconnected to my Cousin Kim and I´m sure that would make her very happy. May you rest in peace with our Lord and the rest of your family.

I'm having such a hard time right now as to where to begin this note. So I'll just say "To Everyone" I hope you know that even though I married into this family (via Tim Owen) I was always loved and accepted as one of your own. Aunt June & Uncle Terry was one of my favorites. I loved loved loved the Friday night card games at Jim & Vernas. I couldn't believe they could go all night long. And if you sat in the livingroom and just listened, it was pure joy to hear them laugh and talk and sometimes even get loud . To me that along with all the family dinners and get togethers was the picture perfect family. June had such a special relationship with every person she knew. I loved hearing her stories from work. I admired her being a "professional " business woman when it still wasn't poplar to be. She forged a future for the next generation of girls to follow in her footsteps. It's a strange thing with these Danish families, even after divorce, you're still a family. I have learned first hand from her example how to continue to care and support for an "ex". Kim, Derek, your mom lives on in each of you. You will always be her heart. And she'll always walk beside you both. Much love, Lynda Owen

Nunu was a gem and so many of us felt her love.
These words are beautiful.
God Speed June, my heart is heavy, but I know you're pain free.

One of the biggest fans to her Grandsons baseball team for sure. Always a pleasure, a true "Mom" to all. Condolences to the family hoping your wonderful memories help you through this difficult time.
