Martin Vasserot Merle
June 16, 1947 - March 30, 2023
NAPA - Martin Vasserot Merle "Tina," died after declining health in Napa, CA. He was 75 years old.
Son of Patsy (Finegan) and Hobbs Merle of Burlingame and San Francisco, Martin was a truly unique energy. He moved to New York in the late 1960s where he was a life force and bon vivant. His residence on W. 9th Street held many a fabulous gathering. In the mid 1980s, Martin returned to California and resided in Hollywood and Palm Springs before settling in Napa.
His career wore many hats, but his greatest asset was his ability to make anyone feel interesting. He had the gift of social grace that is so rare these days.
Tina, on the first anniversary of your passing, we curtsy deeply to you. You were such fun and hold a forever place in our hearts.
