Neva Reingold Obituary

Neva Reingold passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025, at the age of 88, in Kelseyville, CA. Born on March 17, 1937, Neva dedicated much of her life to her community and family.

Neva attended high school in Richmond, California, and moved to Napa in the 1960's. She later took business classes at Napa Valley College. Her entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly in 1973 when she co-founded Candy Fancy with her close friend Doreen Veach. The business specialized in creating decorative candy wreaths and trees, which became popular as unique, edible Christmas decorations. In 1980, they expanded their venture by opening Amy's Art Supply, where Neva also taught art classes and provided supplies to local artists. She concluded her professional career as a wedding consultant at Baker's, where she continued to express her creativity by helping couples plan their perfect wedding day.

Neva was once an active member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she joyfully sang in the choir and participated in the church bowling league. Her commitment to her faith and community was evident in all she did.

Her personal life was filled with joy and creativity. Neva was recognized for her leadership and service as the American Business Women's 1985 Woman of the Year and served as Grand Worthy Matron for the Silver Spray Order of Eastern Star in 2001. Family was central to Neva's life. She relished organizing family and social gatherings, ensuring each event was as unique and special as her artistic creations.

She is survived by her children, Terry Reingold, Steven Reingold, Debra Harding, Jennie Onofre, and Thomas Reingold, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henri Reingold, and her son, Gary Reingold.

A graveside service to honor Neva's life will be held on July 8 at 11:00 AM at Tulocay Cemetery. Neva's life was a testament to her love for her family, her creativity, and her community spirit. She meant the world to us and will be missed by all who knew her. Neva Reingold
