To the Cella family, I was a childhood friend and team mate of Tony's from Holy Rosary Elementary school in Delaware. Way back then I knew he was a special kind of person. I had moved away in 1972 and never got to be a part of Tony's football career thru out high school and college. I always heard so many great things about his achievements both in sports his professional Career and his life in general. The world has lost a great human being for sure. RIP my childhood friend and Team Mate... May God keep his family safe and help them in the difficult years ahead with out him. He was a good man !!!

sorry to hear the news of Tony's passing ... i was fortunate to be among the era of giants at Mobil Chemical Company, some great people with enormous talent and a network that continued to support all of us at any time in need throughout the years. i got trained by Big-Tony's father-in-law Paul and throughout the years had an ear if i ever needed it. my memories are mostly the times at Bryce when Tony and his team came to town. big smiles, eyebrows and all and everyone looked forward to his arrival, and i mean everyone. he was better at selling deep than many who try because he was truly a friend to everyone he came into contact with. my condolences to all!!

There is a song in Spanish that says something like: When a good friend departs, leaves an empty space, that cannot be filled not even with the arrival of another good friend.
Tony, left that space. Even with our disagrees in business, we always leave everything outside to speak about our lives and families. He is now with our Eternal Father and, I am sure they both are enjoying together.
A la prochain mon cher ami!!!

Tony was everyone´s best friend. A man of great character leaving lasting impact to all who were blessed to know him. Having not spoken to him for years - he reached out to provide me with support during a time of need. I am certain he did the same for countless others. May you rest in peace my friend.

Tony touched upon so many lives and it hurts to grasp that he is no longer with us, that he will never walk in the office and casually talk with everyone. Such a gaping hole that will never be filled. I have hard time imagining how his family is coping with such a tremendous loss. We will all miss you badly - big man, big heart, big soul, big spirit!

I first met Tony back in the mid-80's as we were both young sales guys for Mobil Chemical. We became fast friends as we had much in common, besides Mobil - sports, golf, music, family, friends, travel, and laughter...Mobil essentially paid the tab for us to hang out together at Camelback, Turnberry, Tamarron, Ventanna Canyon - glory days indeed. Tony and I teamed up together VS Glenn Owens and Joe Piccionne in our annual sales meeting golf grudge match - we took the first match and I had special golf bag tags made up to commemorate the victory..the other team didn't like that and took the next two! Tony introduced me to Gene and Georgetti's as that became our frequent stop over the years - pass the Calamari Fritti, please. I was able to spend 4-5 days with Tony about a month after Kathy passed...that was some special time with a dear old friend. I am going to miss him and will always be able to hear him say, "Johnnnnnie" in that fun, raspy voice. RIP Brother.

I´m absolutely stunned! Tony was a friend, first as a co-worker and the friendship took off from there. Tony was in my wedding and we played softball, golf and basketball together. Tony never once made me feel inferior, but I was in every way! He´s waited close to lifetime to reunite with Cathy, for that I´m happy for him! Love you big guy - rest easy!!

Such a loss. A great friend, team mate, and father. I have so many fond memories of time spent with Tony. The best were in conference rooms and on golf courses. One of the kindest men I have ever known. Big heart, big personality...big loss.

Tony had so many endearing qualities about him, and he was loved by so many people it seems almost impossible that he has left us. Having worked with Tony, and worked for Tony, on and off for most of my career I saw first-hand and learned from him how to treat people right and they returned his kindness with their unwavering friendship and love. He will be sorely missed by all who crossed paths with him, and I will surely miss speaking to him about work, family, life's challenges, and in getting his sage advice on many matters. RIP Tony.

Tony made every day working at Inteplast fun, even if we were both stressed to the T. He always saw the glass half full and ensured I was never looked over for my work, which was not his responsibility, yet he took on. He was a boss but never spoke to me like one and simply spoke like a friend making hard business conversations easy. Just a few days ago, he made sure to congratulate me on my new job role and we always kept in touch ever since I left Inteplast. I still have a voicemail from you saved that I will never delete. I will miss you so much, Tony.
