Christopher Weiland

Weiland, Christopher R. Age 20, a lifelong resident of Naperville, IL, passed away unexpectedly on December 28, 2014. He was born in Winfield, IL on November 24, 1994. Chris is survived by his loving parents, Michael and Diana Weiland; his devoted sister, Katrina Weiland, all of Naperville; his dear aunts and uncles, Margie (Mark) Rosenboom, Dale Morrison, Dan Morrison, Paul (Jennifer) Morrison, Richard (Nancy) Weiland, Debbie (John) Calebaugh, Kathy (Paul) Frieders, Ron (Natalie) Weiland and Lynette Weiland and their families. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Dolores Morrison and John and Alice Weiland. Chris was a graduate of Naperville Central, class of 2013, and enjoyed competing on the cross country team and being a part of the gymnastic team. He was currently studying Geology at the College of DuPage. Chris joined the Cub Scouts in 1st grade and was proud to earn his Eagle Scout in 2013 with Troop #505 in Naperville. He had a lifelong love of music and especially enjoyed the production aspects of the industry. Chris was most happy outdoors camping or kayaking with his friends. He will be truly missed by all who loved him and called him their friend. To honor Christopher's love of the outdoors, memorial contributions may be made to the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County. Please direct donations to his family at this time until a permanent intention has been selected. Visitation will be Sunday, January 4, 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 5, 1:00 p.m. at Alleluia Lutheran Church, 4055 Book Rd., Naperville, 60564. Inurnment will follow at Naperville Cemetery.
