Jerry Last

1940 - 2023

Jerry Last, age 82, a resident of Naperville since 1979, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2023. He was born on December 7, 1940 in Lansing, IL. Jerry is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Carol (nee Sherman); his loving children, Jerry (Kellie) Last, Jr. of Grand Junction, CO and Jodi (Wayne) Scott of Crown Point, IN; his adored grandchildren, Chad Scott, Ashley Scott, Emily Scott and Tyler Last and great-grandchildren, Eric, Hunter and Hudson Scott; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Roberta Last, and his siblings, William (Cheryl) Last and Arlene (the late Jack) Leary. Jerry grew up in Lansing, IL. He enjoyed 38 years as a truckdriver/salesman for Budweiser in Shorewood, IL. Throughout his life Jerry loved sports. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, skiing, and playing softball. After his retirement in 1998 Jerry enjoyed spending time in Siesta Key, Florida. Above all, family was Jerry's most cherished treasure. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be Monday, November 6, 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
