I was at Eisenhower Jr. High in the early 70's. I remember him being such a kind man with much integrity which is sometimes difficult to find these days! Prayers to the family for their great loss.

Mr. Nothacker was my principle at Eisenhower Jr. High. I admired him greatly, and he was one of the reasons I decided to go into education as a teacher. RIP

Condolences to the family. Mr. Nothacker was one of the first examples of a gentleman I ever met. He was handsome, with a beautiful smile and radio voice. I thought he was fair when dealing with the students. Sorry to hear of his passing.

Kathy and Family,
I extend my deepest condolences to all of you. I had the privilege of working with Jack in Darien District 61 from 1971-76 when he was principal of Eisenhower School and assistant superintendent, and I was a 5th and 6th grade math teacher, assistant principal, and coach of the boys' sports teams at Lace School. Jack was so gentle, kind and professional, always smiling and very humorous (although often sarcastic but still humorous since we knew how to take him)! I will always hold Jack in such high esteem and be grateful to him in helping me in so many ways during my first years of teaching. He will be greatly missed by me and so many friends from District 61. My deepest sympathy to you all.

Jack always had a smile and something humorous to say (although often sarcastic but still humorous since we all knew how to take him)! I also enjoyed being with him at the Annual Mark DeLay Open Golf Tournament in June. Jack was always an inspiration to me and a man that I will always hold in such high esteem. He will be missed by me and so many District 61 friends! I am unable to attend the service for Jack in Florida, but I hope to be there for the service in Naperville in May.
With deepest sympathy, Marilyn Feldmann

I am so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. My mom, Gladys Komerska, was his secretary for years. He was a great guy who could always make me blush! Mom passed away in March 2015 - but my first reaction when my brother, Rich, told me of his passing was to call my mom and tell her. My heart goes out to you - thoughts and prayers!

So sorry to hear of Jacks passing. Gary has kept me aware of his health issues. I laugh when I recall our younger days in Darien. We did have fun.
