I just saw the news in the Bishop Noll newsletter and am so saddened to hear this tragic news. Linda was my best friend when we attended Purdue and we had lost touch over the years. My heart goes out to Larry-the love of her life , as well as her beautiful daughters.

I met Linda in 1980 while working at Inland Steel. I was fresh out of college and Linda worked in the same office as I did. She took me under her wing and helped guide me through that very difficult time in my life. She was like a big sister to me. Later I met her wonderful husband Larry and was very impressed with how much this happy couple loved each other. At the time, Larry and Linda had just moved into their new home in Naperville. I recall how Linda laughed when she told me that one of the neighbors came by her house one day and asked the 25 year old Linda if her parents were home. She got a big kick out of telling me that story. I'll always remember Linda as an energetic and happy woman, deeply in love with her Larry, and also full of a childlike enthusiasm for life. That was the thing I loved about her the most. Her childlike enthusiasm AND her zany and crazy sense of humor!!! Ha ha!!! I also recall the time she told me the story that as a little girl in Poland she fell asleep in a haystack out in some field.
Linda I love you and miss you.!! My heart is so sad that you have left us so suddenly, but we shall reunite in Heaven one day.
To all of the Connell family: I share in your pain and sorrow and my prayers are with you.
