Blake Adams Carroll
Naples, FL
Our fabulous, funny and full of life father, brother, son and friend moved peacefully out of this World on April 1, 2014 surrounded by his loving family and friends. Blake is laughing now at the irreverence of passing at 4:20 Pacific Time (7:20 ET) on April Fools' Day.
Blake was born in Philadelphia, PA and spent much of his childhood in Massachusetts. He graduated from Monson Academy and then went on to the University of Denver in Denver, CO. He loved to waterski and snowski and was incredibly gifted at both. He married and had four amazing children who were the center of his universe: Holli Treadwell (Dudley, MA), Heidi Carroll (Naples, FL), Adam Carroll (Salt Lake City, UT) and Alex Carroll (Webster, MA). His great kids expanded to seven with the addition of Chris Treadwell, Adam's Shannon Magstadt and Heidi's Joey Panepinto. His joyful and exuberant spirit (and incredibly good looks) lives on in all of them.
Blake taught waterskiing around the World. He coached in the United States, the Ivory Coast of Africa, Europe and most recently at Florida Gulf Coast University in Estero, FL.
He was a hard worker beyond coaching. His charm made him a natural salesman of both cars and real estate.
What Blake loved most, in addition to his kids, was to laugh. His tremendous humor and quick wit endeared him to family friends and strangers. His infectious personality and deep sense of loyalty to those he loved was disarming to all. His knowledge of and admiration for all kinds of music accompanied him and our laughter til the very end. The stories go on and on...
In addition to his wonderful children, Blake leaves his mother, Jane Carroll of Naples, FL; and his beloved sister, Kristen Carroll of Salt Lake City, UT; and countless friends. He will always be missed and always remembered any time laughter rises. Blake's legend will live on forever.
A gathering for friends and family is planned for June.

To Jane, Kristen, Holli, Heidi, Adam and Alex I offer my sincere condolences on Blake's passing. Blake had an exuberant personality that positively impacted everyone whenever in his company. Like the candle that burns so brightly, the light that was Blake has darkened far too soon, much too young. As Blake so deserves, may be rest in peace.
