Frank DeRollo Charlotte, NC
Frank DeRollo, 88 of Charlotte, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Levine Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville. Frank was born on December 25, 1919 in Rome, Italy to Salvatore and Dina DeRollo. Frank was the owner and operator of a successful Buick and Mazda dealership for many years where he enjoyed meeting many people. He had a passion for cooking, especially for large groups.
Frank and his best friend, his wife, Jane, enjoyed travelling and spending time at Badin Lake with friends and family. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, St. William's Church and the Optimist's Club in Naples.
Survivors include his wife, Jane; his three grown children, Madeline, Frank and Victor DeRollo; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three step-children and their families, including Anne Miller and husband, Stephen of Charlotte.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Naples Memorial Funeral Home 525 111th Avenue North, Naples, FL 34109.
The family will receive family and friends for the hour prior to the Mass. Frank will be laid to rest in Naples Memorial Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Frank's name to the Levine Dickson Hospice House, 11900 Vanstory Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078.
The DeRollo family is in the care of Naples Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery, 239-597-3101.
