James H. Brennan, Jr., 80, of Naples, FL, died peacefully Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Avow Hospice in Naples, FL.
Devoted husband and widower of Sarah Jane (Evans) Brennan who died on February 26, 2006.
A graduate of Verona High School in New Jersey, Jim matriculated to the University of Pennsylvania graduating with honors from the Wharton School of Business. While at U of P., he was a member of Phi Delta Theta, the Mask & Wig Club, and the R.O.T.C.. Jim, served in the U.S. Air Force following graduation from the University of Pennsylvania.
Jim worked for Towers, Perrin, Forster & Crosby, a management consulting firm in New York, NY for over 30 years.
Jim maintained membership in the Royal Poinciana Country Club, The Naples Forum Club, and served on the board of the Naples Better Gov't Committee for many years.
Born in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of the late James H. Brennan, Sr. and the late Elsie (Millicent) Brennan.
He took a keen interest in his childrens' sports activities, and served as a youth baseball coach for a number of years.
He always found time to be there for those important activities.
He is survived by his daughter, Sally (Brennan) Cable wife of Keith of Geneva, IL; two sons, Richard J. Brennan and his wife Cheryl of Yardley, James H. Brennan, III and his wife Jean of Richmond, VA, he also had six grandchildren, Charles, Sarah, Rick, Kyle, Jay and Jesse.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Brennan.
Private Funeral Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, PA.
Interment, Sky-View Memorial Park of Tamaqua, PA.

Jim was a wonderful man and a valued colleague. He will be missed. My condolences and sympathies to all of his family.

I had the privilege of knowing Jim for almost 13 years as a member of the Greater Naples Better Government Committee Board of Directors. Jim was a dedicated Board member and held the office of treasurer for several years. He will be missed.
