Kenneth James Monk, Naples, FL and Blairsville, GA, passed away Sunday, February 14th, 2010 at the age of 78. He was a past commander of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 93, Naples.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley; his three daughters, and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ken was one of the first persons I met when I arrived here over 30 years ago, along with his dear wife Shirley, we became close friends, a relationship which remains. along with my wife we offer our sincere condolence to Shirley and his family, for our part, we feel the loss, as they do.rest easy old friend, we already miss you.
