Michael Paul Ramos Naples, FL
A memorial service for Michael Paul Ramos, of Columbia, SC, will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Kornegay & Moseley, with Dr. Mark Bredholt officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made on his families behalf to David Decker, 211 Pine St., Theresa, NY 13691.
Michael passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at the age of 34. Born in Naples, FL on May 1, 1980, he was the son of Paul Ramos of Swansboro, NC and Cathy L. (Jeff) Miller Anderson of Montgomery, OH. Michael was a University of Louisville Alumnus and an avid Cardinal Fan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army ( 1st Lieutenant ), serving in Iraq. Where he received both the commendation and the achievement medals. Married Nicole Decker on November 16, 2011 in Watertown, NY.
Michael was a treasured son and devoted and loving husband and father. He was a gentle soul with a big heart and lifted everyone that knew him with his kindness, generosity and great sense of humor. Words cannot express the void that he leaves behind.
Aside from his parents he is survived by his wife, Nicole; daughter, Isabella Ramos; son, Maxamilian Ramos of Columbia, SC; sister, Jessica (Bryan) Ramos Murphy; niece, Amelia Murphy; nephew, Dawson Murphy of Shelbyville, KY; grandparents, Hester Jordan Collette of Zephyrhills, FL, Alicia R. Key of Naples, FL, Bruce J. Miller of Sebring, FL; in-laws, David and Jean Decker of Theresa, NY. Along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Juan Ramos, Sr; and his uncles, Glenn G. Miller, Sr. and Lupe Ramos.
