Steve Lowe Naples, FL
Steve Lowe, 63, of Naples, FL, passed away unexpectedly on December 25, 2009 while on vacation with his family in Jackson Hole, WY.
Born in Cleveland, OH on December 13, 1946 to Patricia and Frank Lowe, Steve was a graduate of University School in Shaker Heights OH, excelling in all sports particularly football and baseball. Steve graduated from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY as did his father, the late Frank Lowe.
Steve and his family have resided in Naples since 1981.
His greatest passion and gift of life was the love for his wife of 37 years, Barbi Lowe; and his two children, Tricia Lowe Soars and Scott Lowe; along with Tricia's husband Rod, and Scott's wife Jayme; his cherished grandchildren, Kaidin Soars (eight), Dane Soars (seven), Jake Lowe (six), and Virginia Lowe (four); his mother, Patricia Lowe Wilson; his sister, Martha Lowe Grimm; and his brother, David Lowe.
Steve excelled in every aspect of his life. His success in real estate development and sales for nearly 30 years, predominantly with Premier Properties of Southwest Florida, was due to his extensive knowledge and expertise of his field.
Steve was completely adored and deeply admired by his family and friends. He enjoyed life to the absolute fullest. His insatiable desire to see and fully experience the world led him to explore every corner of the earth with his cherished wife, Barbi. Steve's passion for travel, esteem for nature, and joy for living will forever be an inspiration to all who knew him.
A celebration of Steve's life will be held on Wednesday, December 30th (TODAY) from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Le Rivage, 4351 Gulf Shore Blvd. North, Naples, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Steve's love for nature may be made to Naples Botanical Garden, The Conservancy of Southwest Florida, The Naples Zoo, or the charity of your choice.

Dear Barbi -- Having just seen Steve a few short weeks ago at Moraya Bay and witnessing his exuberance at his new project, stunned is the only word I can use to describe the news of his sudden passing. I did not know either of you well, but feel compelled to tell you how sorry I am that such sadness has to come to such a wonderful couple. Hopefully, all the prayers from all those whose lives you have touched will lift you up and give you some peace in this most difficult time. Blessings.

Barbi and Family,
It was a pleasure working with you and Steve at the Village office. I will remember his witty sense of humor and most of all his passion for travel. He would spend months planning their trips and put so much love and time into every detail.
We are all fortunate to have had Steve as a part of our lives and should be comforted by the fact that we will once again meet.
Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
God Bless,
Sondra McCaskill

Dear Barbi,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family. Steve will forever be remembered as a fun, loving, and gentle man. It was a pleasure working with Steve at Vanderbilt Beach office during my time there before he ventured off to do many more great things. God must have needed an angel, God must have needed a friend, God must have needed the one for which he could depend... May you find solace in his memories. I will never forget his laugh in those times between his associate friends at Vanderbilt Beach. He is now in Gods arms and he shall rest in peace.

Barbi,
I don't know where to begin.
Steve was one of the greatest guys I ever met.
I considered him one of my good friends.
I would always look forward to talking with him on the phone and he was always trying to be positive.
He was always concerned about my leg and would say "Carol don't tell me it is okay if it isn't".
Barbi, he once told me you were his best friend and I use to think if I could only have a relationship like that.
He will be sadly missed by so many.
Barbi, if you ever need to talk even in the middle of the night I will always be here for you.
Warmest Regards,
Carol Gilman

Dear Barbi,
We are extremely sorrowful for yours and the family's loss. It was my pleasure to know, admire and respect Steve. Perhaps what i'll remember most was his gentleness towards fellow Realtors. It is rare to see such a calm spirit in our highly competitive business. We pray for you and the family now that the God of all comfort will walk with you in the days ahead.
