Paul Embry Obituary

Paul Granthan Embry, 83, passed away peacefully on February 8th, 2025, surrounded by his wife and close friends. Born in Butler County, Kentucky, Paul proudly served in the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserve from 1959 to 1963, receiving multiple military honors, including the National Defense Service Medal and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal for his service during the Cuban Crisis. He was a dedicated member of VFW Post 4407 in Gulf Breeze, Florida, and an honorary member of the Florida Sheriff's Association for 20+ years. After earning degrees in Electrical and Industrial Engineering from Roger Williams University, Paul built a 32-year career at General Dynamics, where he worked as an Engineer Specialist until retirement. Paul is survived by his wife of 61 years, Geraldine, and his son Michael, along with extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his son, James Warren Embry, as well as his parents and siblings. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 22nd at Jasmine Terrace at El Molino in Pasadena, CA.
