GREENSBURG, PA: Gary William Lamp 59, of Greensburg died Saturday March 11, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 25, 1957 in Newark, Ohio, the son of Ernest W. Lamp and the late Jeannine Chism Lamp of Newark Ohio. He was a 1975 graduate of Heath High School in Heath Ohio. He most recently worked for Universal Veneer in Heath Ohio. He was an accomplished musician playing drums and guitar. He loved boating, sailing and fishing Lake Erie as well as golf and wood working . He was also an avid Cleveland Sports Fan and loved The Ohio State Buckeyes. Being the cornerstone of his family he loved arranging Family and friend get togethers. In addition to his mother, He was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Richardson. He is survived by his loving wife Jane (Penatzer)Lamp of Greensburg, Daughters, Shauntae(Shaun) Little of Moundsville, WV and Nichole(Bob) Duncan of Sidman, PA , Sons, Kyle Lamp of Greensburg and Nathan(Danielle) Brown of Waynesboro Pa. Brothers Michael (Donna) Lamp, Mark Lamp and a sister Kim (Glenn) Foster all of Newark OH. Grandchildren Jackson, Skya, Creed and Deacon Little of Moundsville WV and Grace Duncan of Sidman Pa. He will also be sadly missed by his faithful Goldendoodle Mya. Family and Friends will be received from 12 to 1pm Saturday March 18, 2017 at THE BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St. Greensburg. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home at 1 pm with the Lay Pastor Roger Snyder officiating. In leiu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
